For Parents Of Preschoolers
We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and fun environment for all of our preschool dancers.
In the first few weeks of class, our main focus is helping children feel happy and comfortable in their new dance setting. This includes getting used to the classroom, their teacher, and making new friends.
Learning to separate from parents is a big step for preschoolers. Over time, children begin to enjoy the class activities, feel more confident with their peers, and understand that their parent will always come back for them. Some children may find this challenging at first, and that is completely normal.
Keeping goodbyes short and positive can really help. Please don’t hesitate to ask our teachers for support if you need it — we are here to help both you and your child.
If dance isn’t quite right for your child right now, that’s okay too. You are always welcome to try again next month, next term, or next year. Every child develops at their own pace, and we want this experience to feel positive and pressure-free.
